The Team Jersey Order Checklist

A simple checklist for collecting names, numbers, sizes and colors before placing a group custom jersey order.

A group jersey order goes smoothly when the information is collected before anyone reaches checkout. The goal is simple: every person gets the right size, the right spelling and the right number without last-minute messages.

1. Confirm the design direction

Choose the sport, jersey style and a maximum of three colors. Decide whether the team name appears on the front, back or both. Keep a single reference image or written description so everyone is working from the same brief.

2. Build a roster spreadsheet

Create columns for full name, display name, jersey size, number and personal confirmation. A player might want a nickname on the back but a full name on the order form; keep both clear to avoid confusion.

3. Ask each person to confirm their own size

Do not guess sizes for other adults. Send the size guide and ask each person to reply with their selected size after checking their chest measurement. For children, ask a parent or guardian to confirm.

4. Check number duplicates

Decide whether duplicate numbers are allowed. If not, assign numbers early and flag conflicts before production. Confirm that every number is one or two digits and uses only numerals.

5. Proofread names and numbers

Read the roster aloud or have a second person check it. Look for missing letters, spaces, hyphens and accidental autocorrect. Personalized production can make later changes difficult.

6. Place a test order if time allows

For a large group, consider ordering one sample first when the schedule allows. Confirm the fit, color and lettering before committing the full roster.

7. Keep one order owner

Appoint one person to place the order and receive updates. This keeps communication consistent and makes it easier to resolve size or spelling questions.

8. Save the final confirmation

Before checkout, export the roster and save a screenshot of the final basket. Keep the order confirmation email in a shared folder so the group can refer to it later.

9. Plan delivery time

Custom jerseys are made to order. Work backward from your event date and allow time for production, international delivery and any local customs processing. Contact us before ordering if your deadline is tight.
